Car, 4WD and workshop accessories for Australian vehicles
Explore vehicle accessories for recovery, load carrying, lighting, maintenance, workshop lifting, cleaning and vehicle-specific protection. The Ozbuyz Auto Accessories department covers products for cars, utes, 4WDs, trailers, caravans, motorcycles and workshop use, but the correct choice begins with the exact vehicle and task—not a broad “universal” claim.

Confirm the exact vehicle before ordering
Record the make, model, series, build month and year, body style, engine, drivetrain and trim. A registration year can span more than one generation, and Australian-delivered vehicles can differ from overseas versions shown in a product title. Check dimensions, mounting points, connector shape and stated exclusions, and use the VIN or original part number where the supplier requires it.
Use the lowest applicable rating
A system is limited by its weakest approved component. For a roof load, that can be the vehicle roof, fit kit, cross bars, carrier or restraint. For recovery equipment, distinguish minimum breaking strength from working load limit and confirm the intended recovery method. For a jack, ramp, stand or hoist, check the product’s nominated capacity, lifting range, warnings and the actual load at the support point.
Check road legality separately from physical fit
Australian Design Rules, VSB 14 and state or territory registration rules can affect lighting, exhaust, emissions, external projections, dimensions, vehicle mass and other modifications. Driving lights, replacement globes, fuel or exhaust components and structural accessories may need compliant installation, inspection, engineering or approval. A product being sold online does not automatically make every installation road legal.
