Installation is a breeze simply use a common 82mm (or larger, if desired) hole saw to create an opening, insert the vent body, and secure it by hand using the substantial plastic nut. When exposed to ample sunlight for the first time, the extractor will activate within 20 seconds, automatically initiating warm air extraction. On partly cloudy days, this vent incorporates built-in capacitors to temporarily store energy, adjusting the fan speed to a slower setting if necessary until full sunlight returns. During overcast spring or summer days, the vent operates intermittently.
