Gabriel Tancredi is at the tail end of a very successful career as a mob-enforcer, he is grooming his replacement and finally preparing himself for a well earned retirement. This last job was supposed to be a simple one. Silence a police witness with extreme prejudice, something he's done countless times before. But the assignment goes sideways, and against his better judgement, Gabriel who has always followed orders, breaks protocol. Instead of murdering the witness he saves her, and immediately finds himself wanted by the very cartel he has worked for his whole life.
